## Safety

Ask to be shown how to use it the first time you need to

Wear eye protection and ensure the guard is down.

Use an appropriate speed for the drill and material you're working with.

## Things to know

Single phase8 speedMT2 quill

A safety interlock stops the machine if the belt access is opened

Don't change the gear unless the machine is fully stopped

DO NOT HACK!!

## Foibles

Using the foot brake trends to lock the machine in the off. This requires manually lifting the button cover and pulling the button back to its unpressed state.

The real solution to this would be to replace the spring that resets this button.
